Cleaning solutions  

A mild antimicrobial/ germicidal medicated soap should be used according to package instructions.  Examples of this are soft-soap clear liquid techni-care, provon, satin, almat, clearly natural, dial clear liquid. These are all mild, fragrance and color free liquid antibacterial soaps.  Provon, satin and technicare are professional strength products and should be diluted with distilled water.

Also mild non-idolized (no iodine) sea salt soaks are recommended as described below. Sea salt is the only additional product (other than the cleanser and water) that we suggest you use to care for your piercing.
